Fluted timber dowels for joining boards and frames, so the joint lines up and the glue has somewhere to go.
The grooves down the side let excess glue and air escape as you tap the dowel home, so it doesn't split the timber or push the joint apart. Drill matching 8mm holes in both pieces, a dowel jig makes that a lot easier, put a little glue in the holes, tap a dowel in and clamp it up. Haron sell them for corner joints as well as straight runs. The 8mm size is the all rounder for cabinet and shelf joints.
There are 50 in the pack. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're not sure what you need, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
