DIGGERS TIMBER CLEANER 1L

Grey, weathered timber will not take a finish properly. The old surface has to come off first, and that is the job this does. Diggers Timber Cleaner is a concentrated oxalic acid that lifts the grey and brings the natural timber colour back, ready for oil, stain or paint.

It is a concentrate, so a little goes a long way. Mix one part cleaner to four parts water in a plastic container, scrub it onto wet timber, let it sit for a bit, then rinse off well with fresh water. Give it a day or two to dry before you put a finish on top.

It works on new timber that needs prepping and on old timber that has gone past its best, decks and outdoor furniture included. Often you can skip the sanding altogether.
