Masses of dainty, blue-toned daisies that seem to know exactly how much water our summers actually get.
Swan River Daisy is an Australian native that thrives on being left alone. It carpets pots and garden borders with fine, ferny foliage and a long run of small daisy flowers, carrying a soft scent on a warm day and drawing in bees and butterflies along the way.
Sow thinly straight into its flowering position rather than raising seedlings, it doesn't like being disturbed. The main risk with this one is kindness, it's far more likely to sulk from overwatering than from neglect.

- Botanical name: Brachyscome iberidifolia (Mixed)
- Type: Hardy annual
- Height: 30cm (12in)
- Position: Well-drained, sunny spot
- Sow: thinly, 5mm deep, in flowering position
- Seedlings emerge: 10-14 days
- Spacing: thin to 20cm apart
- Flowers: approx. 16 weeks from sowing

- Care: Needs little attention. Take care not to overwater.
