Sweet, juicy cherry tomatoes warm off the vine, the ones that never quite make it inside. Red Cherry is a heavy cropper of small bright fruit that's brilliant in salads or through pasta.
Give it rich, well-drained soil and full sun, and let the fruit ripen on the vine for the best flavour. It needs a stake and the side shoots pinched out as it grows.
