D.T Brown - Peppermint (Mentha piperita)
Description:
Peppermint produces strong, dark green leaves with a good flavour. Hardy and perennial, it can grow up to 40cm (16 inches). Ideal for making teas, adding to salads, or as a garnish for various dishes.

Harvest Information:
Location: Prefers damp, shady conditions.
Sow: Straight in the garden or in pots. Lightly press the seeds into the surface of the soil.
Seedlings Emerge: 16-20 days.
Spacing: Thin to 30cm (1ft) apart.
Harvest: As required. Can grow to a height of 30cm (1ft).
Care: If storing, it is best to freeze Peppermint rather than dry it.
