Coopers Original Real Ale 1.7kg

For something with a bit more character than a lager, this real ale delivers. It pours bright gold with a strong head, a fruit and malt nose and a generous mouthfeel that lands on a moderate bitterness.

It starts as a tin of hopped liquid malt extract, so the recipe is sorted for you. Dissolve it in hot water, top to 23 litres, add a kilo of Brew Enhancer 1 or brewing sugar and sprinkle the yeast from under the lid.
