Cloth tape earns its keep when you need a strong, tear by hand fix that holds. This one grips firm, pulls off the roll clean and handles the jobs gaffer tape was made for, from marking out floors to patching up on the run.

The cloth backing is tough and flexible, so it moulds over edges and rough surfaces instead of lifting. White is the one for marking and labelling, and it keeps a clean look where black would stand out.

This is the longer 25 metre roll, so it lasts through plenty of jobs before you reach for another. It tears straight across by hand when you need a quick length.
