Gives your cuttings a better shot at putting down roots, so more of them take.
Clonex Purple is a rooting hormone gel with 3g/L of IBA, the middle strength in the Clonex range and the one for semi-hardwood cuttings, with softwood cuttings also listed. The gel seals the cut end and holds the hormone right where the roots start. Take a fresh cut, dip the end about 1cm into a little gel poured off into a separate container, then plant it straight into moist propagating mix and keep it moist until it roots.
Full details are in the tabs below, and if you want to talk through what to strike and when, come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn, or call (08) 8536 4333.
