    White oil is a light horticultural oil that coats soft bodied pests like scale and smothers them. This one's from Brunnings in a 400g aerosol, which is handy for a few pots or one tree without getting the sprayer out. The can lists the pests and plants it's registered for and the weather to avoid spraying in, so read it before you start, and get the tops and undersides of the leaves where the pests sit.
