    Repointing a wall starts with getting the old mortar out, and a flat chisel just skates across the joint.

    This Supercraft plugging chisel has a narrow, angled blade purpose-built to rake out old mortar from between bricks, cut fixing points into masonry, or chop small holes for plugs and fixings, work a standard cold chisel isn't shaped for.

    At 280mm it's long enough to keep your hand well clear of the strike zone while you're working close to a wall.
