    Hook it, and the door stays where you put it. This is a chrome-plated brass cabin hook and eye, 150mm long, the simple catch that holds a gate or door open, or keeps a light door pulled to.

    One plate screws to the door, the eye goes on the frame, and the hook drops between them. At 150mm it has the reach for a wider gap or a gate that swings a fair way. Brass under the chrome means it holds up outdoors as well as in, so it is at home on a gate, a shed, a flyscreen or a garden door.
