Brunnings Garden Lime raises the pH of acidic soil and adds calcium and magnesium while it is at it. That makes locked-up nutrients available again, and it helps open up heavy soils so roots and water move through more easily.

Test your soil first so you know how much it needs, then spread the lime evenly and water it in. Give it a few weeks to work before you judge the result.
