Gives your irrigation valves and taps a box in the ground with a lid on it, so you can find them later and keep the mower off them.

This HR Products box is the big rectangular size, 420 x 305mm and 160mm deep, with a black plastic body and a green lid that sits flush with the lawn. There's room inside for a solenoid manifold or a couple of ball valves, and the open bottom lets water drain away into the gravel under it. Dig the hole a bit deeper than the box and bed it on gravel so it doesn't sink.
