A 2000 grit wet and dry sheet for the very last sand before polishing, when you want the finish as smooth as you can get it by hand.

Norton's Tufbak T419 uses silicon carbide grit on a waterproof latex paper, and at this grit it's meant to be used wet, with water and a splash of soap so the sheet glides and doesn't clog. It follows the 1200 and leaves a scratch so fine that a polish or cutting compound takes it out quickly, so it suits clear coats and headlight lenses. The full 230 x 280mm sheet wraps around a block or cuts down to suit the job.
