A 1830mm fencing bar with a chisel end for breaking into hard ground and a heavy upset head on the other end for ramming soil back in tight around a post.

It's drop forged high carbon steel in a 25mm hex profile, heat treated for strength and sharpened so it bites into the soil instead of bouncing off. Dig with the chisel point, drop the post in, then flip the bar over and tamp the backfill down with the head as you go, which is what keeps a post standing straight for years. The depth markers on the bar let you check each hole without grabbing a tape. The full 1830mm length gives you more reach down a deep hole.
