Champion Air Hose Tail 1/4 Male to 5/16 Barb

Getting air from the compressor to the tool starts with a solid hose connection. A barb that doesn't grip will pop off under pressure and cost you the job, so this is the bit that joins it all up properly.

The B208B is a brass fitting with a 1/4 inch male thread on one end and a 5/16 inch hose barb on the other. Push your 5/16 air hose onto the barb, clamp it, then thread the other end into a coupler or fitting. Brass handles the moisture in a compressed-air line without rusting up.

Unlike the quick-connect couplers, a hose tail is profile-neutral, so you're only matching hose size and thread here.
