Fills holes and cracks in wood and plaster, and once it's dry you can drill it or sand it like the thing around it.

It's a powder you mix with tap water, so you only make up what you need and the rest of the tub keeps. It works on concrete too, it fills to any depth without shrinking or cracking, it's non-flammable and has no VOCs, and it's been a trade standby since 1929. The one thing it isn't is flexible, so leave it off joints that move, and let it dry right through before you paint over it.
