Galvanised chipboard screws for jobs that might see a bit of weather, like shelving in the shed or flat pack furniture that lives on the verandah.

They're Macsim 8g screws at 35mm long with a self embedding head that pulls itself in flush with the surface, and a square drive that holds the bit better than a Phillips when you're driving a lot of them. The coarse chipboard thread grips in particle board, MDF and softwood, and the galvanised coating holds off rust better than a zinc plated screw. For timber that stays wet or anything near the coast, stainless is the better pick.

There are 100 in the blister pack. Full specs are in the tabs below, and if you're not sure what length suits your job, call us on (08) 8536 4333 or come in and chat with us at 34-52 Milnes Rd, Strathalbyn.
