Hanging something solid on a hollow wall is where a lot of jobs go wrong. This metal hollow wall anchor takes the guesswork out of it. Push it through the hole, drive the screw, and the arms behind splay open and pull flat against the back of the board, spreading the load so your fixing stays put.

It is yellow zinc plated metal, so it is sturdier than a plastic plug and gives light corrosion resistance for indoor use. The 8mm body suits 25-32mm board, which is the part that matters. Match the anchor to how thick your plasterboard or panel is and it grips properly. Too thin or too thick and it will not set right.

Good for light duty fixings around the home, think picture frames, small shelves, towel rails and cable clips. It comes with its own machine screw, so it is ready to go.
