Macsim Butterfly Toggle Plastic Wall Anchor 12mm, Each

A butterfly toggle is the easy way to hang something light on a hollow wall. Push the folded plastic wings through the hole, and as you drive the screw the wings open out behind the board and grip the back of it. No special tools, no fuss.

This is the 12mm size, made from tough plastic rather than metal. Plastic toggles are made for the lighter jobs like picture frames, cable clips, small shelf brackets and bathroom fittings. For anything heavy, step up to a metal anchor or a spring toggle.

Drill a hole to suit, fold the wings, push them through, then tighten. Once the wings are behind the board they stay there, so have your fixing ready before you screw it home.
