    The larger 11mm body on this cavity anchor gives a bigger bearing surface than the 8mm size, for board 10 to 16mm thick.

    Drive it through a drilled hole and the arms splay out behind the board as the included machine screw goes in, spreading the load over a wider area than the smaller body manages. That means a firmer hold than a plastic plug for the same board thickness, especially where the fitting will see regular use.

    It comes ready to fix with its own machine screw and a yellow zinc finish that suits normal indoor conditions. Still a light duty fixing, so match it to frames and fittings rather than heavy loads.
