    A galvanised screw with a low, wide wafer head, for fixing brackets and timber outside where the head needs to sit flat and hold a lot of surface.

    The Type 17 point cuts its own way into timber without a pilot hole, and the wafer head spreads the load so it won't pull through a thin bracket or sink into soft timber. It's a Class 3 galvanised finish, which is made for outdoor work. They drive with a Phillips #2 bit. The 25mm length is for fixing a bracket, a strap or thin sheet down onto timber.
